Good Morning Kix County

It is great to be back, I have not felt like myself since I have been away and  I am immensely enjoying as each minute passes here in the Kix Country Studios. Thank you for the warm reception back and I am looking forward to sharing the airwaves with you all this morning.

The Election has come and gone with the majority of the popular vote being in favor of the result which has seen re-election of President Barack Obama. This past year has been one of the most partisan operating procedures which both parties being responsible. We have also had to endure several grueling months of very spiteful and negative campaign advertisements which has taken its toll on the morale of our society. The objective truth that we can all agree on is that we are all in this together and some of us may not be happy with the result from Tuesday. Our ability to voice our own opinions is one of the greatest freedoms we enjoy in America, but it is extremely important that we do not take it for granted, nor do we impose our beliefs on others. We are currently involved in two wars overseas with a very uncertain future in terms of finances, a tough road lies ahead and it is imperative that we remember the great words uttered in John Dickensongs patriotic ballad which go like this "United We Stand, Divided We Fall". We the people should set an example for both our leaders and the youth to follow, let it begin by the way we treat each other on a daily basis.

This recent story about a Mcdonalds Owner who has decided to fly a flag upside on the subsequent day following the election, she is saying it was a mistake by an employee, but the fact that flew all day and she only changed her story after being hound by the local press suggests that she may have been making a political statement. Let us not follow this example moving forward..... I am not making an allegation that she did it on purpose, but every action of our existance should always take the opinions of others into consideration.

Lady Gaga recently set a shining example for others to follow when she decided to donate one million dollars to the Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund, While most of us could never afford to give even a small fraction of the amount she gave... it none the less was very well done on her part. There are tons of local charities that can be helped in our community of Charlotte County, some of them do not even require money or time being given... you could promote activism through the avenue of Social Media.

Lastly, I would like to share this recent devlopment with you in regards to the newly discovered " Super Earth "... this year has been filled with news about the final frontier in regards to the rover Curiosity landing on the Red Planet, several new planets found outside our solar system and this is the newest development.
